Ocean View Jazz – with James Flynn Duo

Step out of the cold and into the warmth of Zoie Cafe, and immerse yourself in an afternoon of smooth, easy-listening jazz. 

Seasoned musicians James Flynn and Ray Walker will bring their favourite stories to life through timeless melodies. With lyrics by legends like Cole Porter, Gershwin, and Michel Legrand, they will perform songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Nat King Cole.

Ocean View Jazz – with Jackson van Ballegooyen Duo

Escape the cold and enjoy the warm hospitality of Zoie Café while enjoying the smooth sounds of live jazz. Sink into a relaxed Sunday afternoon enjoying the jazz duo of Tom Berkmann and Jackson Van Ballegooyen, surrounded by the gentle hum of conversation, the clinking of cups, and a stunning ocean view just beyond the window. Expect to hear plenty of swinging jazz standards in the style of Oscar Peterson, Kenny Barron and Mulgrew Miller. 

Jackson van Ballegooyen is an expressive and versatile jazz pianist whose style blends swinging jazz, elegant ballads, and modern improvisation. He studied at the James Morrison Academy in Mount Gambier, under the tutelage of some of Australia’s finest musicians and has joined Morrison on multiple tours around the country.

Wine by the Beach

Sample some of the distinctive regional wines from 3drops winery. The 3drops vineyard is located at Mt. Barker, in the heart of Western Australia’s Great Southern Wine Region. Owner, Joanne Bradbury will talk about the life-long journey which has seen 3drops become one of WA’s most acclaimed producers of olive oil and premium wines and be available to answer your questions.
